About Crumbs

What is Crumbs?: A private place to keep track of the people you’re dating, whether that’s 1 or 10. You see your whole dating life in one view: who, when, what you spent, how it feels, and how things are changing.
Is it a dating app?: No. Crumbs doesn’t match you with anyone and has no profiles. It’s for keeping track of who you’re already seeing.
Who is it for?: Adults 18 and over, in any dating style: casual, open, polyamorous, looking for a life partner, or undefined. Crumbs never assumes monogamy, a goal, or that a connection is going somewhere.
Will it tell me what to do?: No. Crumbs is a tracker, not an expert. It doesn’t advise, diagnose or coach. You set each person’s status and intent, and your choice wins.
When and where can I get it?: iPhone first, starting with a beta. Android isn’t part of the first version. Follow @readthecrumbs for updates. During the beta you sign up with your email; Apple and Google sign-in come later.
How much does it cost?: Crumbs has a free plan. The paid plan is $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial. Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple.

How does Crumbs spot patterns?: From what you log: who texted and when, your tone tags, and how planned dates turned out. Fixed rules turn those logs into patterns like “This pattern looks like breadcrumbing”, with a strength label (Low, Moderate or Strong) and how many logs it’s based on. How patterns work
Will Crumbs tell me how someone feels about me?: No. Crumbs describes patterns in your logs. It never says what someone else is thinking, wanting or about to do, and it doesn’t call a pattern good or bad.
Can it predict a ghosting?: No. Time to Ghost shows whether the reply times you log are Stable, Slowing or Significantly slowing. There’s no percentage and no date prediction.
Does Crumbs use AI?: No. Patterns come from fixed rules, and message templates are written ahead of time and built into the app. There’s no AI in the first version.
Why don’t I see any patterns yet?: Patterns need enough logs first. Until then, you’ll see “You’ve logged X of N” for that person.

Does Crumbs read my messages?: No. Crumbs never reads your messages and doesn’t connect to any message app.
Will the person I’m tracking find out?: Nothing is shared with or visible to them, and Crumbs never contacts them or sends a message for you.
Is my data encrypted?: It’s encrypted in transit (TLS). Encryption at rest: being confirmed.
Is my data sold or used for ads?: No. Your data is never sold or shared for advertising.
Can I export or delete my data?: You can delete your account in the app, and your data is removed from our database right away; we email you to confirm. Export isn’t available in the app yet. Private by design
How long is my data kept, and where?: Until you delete your account. It’s stored with Supabase and hosted on Render. The full list of providers is in the Privacy Policy.
